About Swann Sleep
Swann Sleep is a British mattress manufacturer based in Bristol, supplying trade and B2B customers across the UK. We manufacture our own collections in-house, including our exclusive UK licence for Copper Fresh antimicrobial technology, developed with 12 years of R&D alongside the University of Birmingham. Due to continued growth, we're looking for a practical, reliable Delivery Driver / Warehouse Assistant to join our Bristol site.
The Role
A varied, hands-on role combining B2B delivery driving with warehouse support. When you're not on the road, you'll be a key part of the warehouse team keeping production and dispatch running smoothly.
You'll work Monday to Friday, no weekends. Given the nature of B2B deliveries, there may be occasional early starts or later finishes, but this won't be the norm.
This is an active, physically demanding role involving regular manual handling.
Duties
- Safely operate the company 3.5T van to deliver products to B2B trade customers across the UK
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrivals
- Handle collections as required
- Assist with loading and unloading, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain signatures on delivery
- Support warehouse activities — stock organisation, inventory checks, order fulfilment
- Carry out basic vehicle checks and report issues promptly
- Adhere to health & safety regulations at all times
Essential Requirements
- Full, valid UK driving licence (maximum 3 penalty points)
- Proven experience driving a 3.5T van
- Good physical fitness, comfortable with daily manual handling
- Reliable, punctual, hands-on and proactive
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and the team
Desirable Experience
- Multi-drop or B2B delivery experience
- Warehouse, stock handling or logistics experience
- Manufacturing or production environment experience
