Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Domestic Window and Conservatory Sales Representative to join our long-established Teesside based manufacturing and installation business. With a fantastic reputation, and a solid customer base, we manufacture and install UPVC windows, doors, conservatories and Orangeries throughout the Teesside postcode area.
In this role, you will be the key driver of new business opportunities by engaging with potential customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions for window and conservatory installations. Self-motivated and with a strong customer focus, your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help build lasting relationships with clients, ensuring a seamless sales process from initial contact to project completion. This commission only position offers a fantastic opportunity to drive volume and grow within a local company dedicated to delivering high-quality home improvement solutions.
Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective customers through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and online inquiries to identify their window and conservatory needs
- Conduct detailed consultations, presenting product options and explaining features, benefits, and pricing clearly and confidently
- Negotiate terms and close sales effectively while maintaining a positive customer experience
- Manage a pipeline of leads, follow up diligently, and keep accurate records of all interactions using IT systems
- Maintain organized schedules, prioritize appointments efficiently, and manage time effectively to maximize sales opportunities
- Provide installation and aftersales support to maximise the customer experience
Skills
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence customer decisions positively
- UK driving licence with own vehicle
- Minimum of 2-years experience in face-to-face sales environments, preferably within the home improvement sector
- Knowledge of current Building Regulations and planning permission rules
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Clear communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Basic IT proficiency for managing CRM systems, emails, and scheduling tools
- Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple appointments and follow-ups efficiently
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a proactive approach to sales development
- Able to assist with other areas of the business when required.
Pay: £50,000.00-£85,000.00 per year
