Colin and Co LTD is a luxury dog retreat dedicated to providing clients with a personable and professional service. Our high-end daycare and boarding services create a unique environment for dogs, we often refer to ourselves as one big family.
We are seeking a hard working, reliable and dedicated dog lover to join our team at Colin and Co LTD, located in Taplow's countryside. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our furry guests receive exceptional care, contributing to our mission of delivering luxurious pet services. Providing enrichment with activities, walks, fun captured throughout the day and most importantly feeding them their favourite meals!
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and personalized care for dogs during their stay, including pictures/ videos for owners.
- Observing, bonding and looking after the dogs within our day care facility.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all pets in your care. Taking a dog to the vets if needed
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the facility, including regular poo pick and washing, tidying and a small amount of cleaning.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs.
- Assist with feeding/ any medication and logging it down.
- Keeping the dogs engaged, walking off site- driving to locations and engaging dogs in activities.
- Monitor health and behavior of pets, reporting any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Opening/ unalarming and putting the dogs to bed, locking up/ alarming the facility securely.
- Working hard as a part of a smaller, close knit team and navigating work relationships professionally.

- Wash,dry and brush dogs, carrying out daily health checks.
- Hand the dogs over to their owners for collection politely and professionally.
Qualifications/ Desires:
- Flexibility- able to work mornings 7-3, evenings 3-10 and weekends required. Additional hours/shifts may apply.
- Proven experience in animal care or related fields is essential.
- Strong customer service skills to engage with pet owners effectively.
- Basic First aid knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
- Preferably able to drive, live within a reasonable distance.
- General knowledge on dog behavior.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting when necessary.
