HGV Class 1 Driver required for a position with our well-established client in Peterborough, Cambridge. This company are well known nationally, have operated in the area for over 20 years.
Job Role: HGV Class 1
Location: Peterborough, Cambridge.
Hours: Early starts (5 - 7am)
Salary - £15.00ph (PAYE) or £18.00ph (LTD / Limited / Sole Trader)
Temporary to Permenant contract: 12-weeks
The Role:
As an HGV Class 1 driver you will be responsible for the delivery goods to farms across the region. Due to the nature of the work, you must be confident with farm tracks and nationwide deliveries. There will be on average 2-5 drops per run.
The HGV Class 1 Driver will require:
- C entitlement on their licence
- Valid Digital tacho & CPC Card
- No more than 6 points on licence / minimum 6 months experience
- Safety Boots & Hi Viz Vest
- Previous store delivery work would be advantageous.
