What you’ll do as a QHSE Manager:
Be the trusted QHSE partner working with our people, supporting service centres, projects and field-based teams to create an environment where everyone goes home safely everyday
Support our teams to identify, assess and control risk through robust risk management, safe systems of work and practical risk management solutions that enable safe delivery
Embed quality and environmental best practices, support our teams to improve process effectiveness and implement sustainability initiatives aligned with ISO standards
Lead investigations into incidents, near misses and significant risks, applying root cause analysis to identify corrective actions and lessons driving sustainable improvement
Drive improvements by leading audits, inspections and observations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, ISO management systems and our HSE standards
You are:
Degree or diploma in a relevant QHSE discipline, with 3+ years’ experience in an HSE Advisor/Specialist/Officer role within engineering, utilities, construction, or industrial environments
Qualified and experienced Lead ISO Auditor (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and/or 50001) with a strong working knowledge of UK and Ireland HSE legislation and compliance standards
Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to coach and engage stakeholders at all levels, supported by excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
IOSH or equivalent professional membership with a commitment to CPD, alongside a full UK driving license and flexibility to travel across operational sites
