We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Senior Care Assistant who holds an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care to join our friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity to support our Care Assistants in delivering exceptional, person-centred care to residents at our welcoming, small care home in the picturesque village of Kirton.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in:
- Providing high-quality, person-centred personal care while promoting residents' dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
- Safe administration and handling of medication.
- Completing and maintaining electronic care plans and accurate digital care records.
- Working alongside healthcare professionals to support residents' individual needs.
- Inducting and mentoring new members of staff.
- Supporting the performance and development of existing team members.
We are committed to providing the highest standards of care and take pride in regularly assessing each resident's individual needs to ensure they receive the best possible support in a safe, caring, and compassionate environment. Experience using electronic care planning systems and confidence with digital record keeping would be an advantage.
Both day and night shifts are available, with hours to be discussed during the interview.
Full training and ongoing support will be provided where required, offering opportunities for continued professional development.
Pay: £13.31 per hour
