Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with established standards and recipes
- Take orders from customers accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws
- Handle cash transactions accurately and balance tills at the end of shifts
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations diligently to ensure compliance with health standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or serving roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards relevant to the industry
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure during busy periods
- Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holiday periods as required
- A responsible attitude towards alcohol service and customer safety
