At Wates, safety and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for a highly capable HSW Strategy Analyst to play a key role in shaping, tracking and delivering our Group Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) strategy.
In this role you will combine strategic thinking, programme management, performance analysis and high-quality reporting to help drive meaningful improvement across the Group on HSW.
Working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders across our businesses, you'll turn complex information into actionable insight, manage strategic initiatives from concept through to delivery, and ensure our HSW priorities remain on track.

- Programme manage strategic HSW initiatives, ensuring actions are planned, tracked and delivered effectively.
- Coordinate and monitor improvement programmes across Wates, providing visibility of progress, risks and opportunities.
- Support the development and implementation of HSW performance priorities across the Group.
- Analyse performance data, identify trends and generate meaningful insight to support informed decision-making.
- Create high-quality reports, dashboards, board papers and presentations for senior stakeholders, including ExCo and Board-level audiences.
- Drive accountability and momentum by engaging with stakeholders and supporting action owners to achieve successful outcomes.
- Provide constructive, evidence-based challenge and recommendations to support continuous improvement.
We're seeking a bright, organised and commercially aware professional who enjoys solving problems, managing programmes and turning data into compelling stories.
You'll bring:
- Experience in project management, programme management, business analysis, operational improvement or a similar analytical role.
- Strong planning and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent data analysis and reporting capabilities, transforming complex information into clear, actionable insight.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working within a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities.
- Advanced presentation and reporting skills, particularly using PowerPoint, Excel and reporting tools such as Power BI.
- An understanding of risk management principles.
