Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Bodyshop Technician to join our our bodyshop technician team at Minster Motor Group. The successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative workshop environment, carrying out high-quality body and paint repairs to vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and has strong attention to detail. Duties
- Carrying out body repairs including panel replacement, straightening, filling, and preparation
- Preparing vehicles for paint, including sanding, masking, and priming and colour matching
- Spraying vehicles and panels to a high-quality finish using appropriate paint systems
- Ensuring all repairs and paintwork are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
- Conducting quality checks to ensure vehicles meet company and customer expectations
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Working closely with the workshop, service, and management teams to meet deadlines
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' proven experience as a Bodyshop/Paint Technician or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of vehicle paint processes, materials, and techniques
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
- A proactive, reliable, and professional approach to work
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A full UK driving licence
