About the Role
ACRE (Ascension Property Services Ltd) is seeking a skilled Multitrade Operative with strong, proven plumbing experience and their own van to join our growing delivery team across London.
While this is a multitrade position covering day-to-day responsive repairs, void refurbishments, and planned maintenance, the primary focus of this role will be tackling core plumbing issues alongside general maintenance tasks.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out diagnostic, repair, and installation work in occupied and void properties.
- Primary plumbing duties: tracing and fixing leaks, replacing taps, traps, toilets, radiators, pipework repairs, unblocking drainage, and fitting sanitary ware.
- Secondary multitrade repairs to complete jobs end-to-end:
- Patch plastering, making good, and wall repairs following plumbing works.
- Wall and floor tiling repairs.
- Basic carpentry (hanging/adjusting doors, locks, boxing-in pipework, kitchen repairs).
- Touch-up painting and decorating.
- Working efficiently from job sheets with clear scopes and reporting progress via smart devices.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong, proven background in domestic plumbing alongside general multitrade skills.
- Own reliable commercial van and complete set of trade tools.
- UTR registered (CIS/Self-Employed).
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, professional customer-facing attitude, and ability to hit deadlines independently.
