Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy/Dispensary Assistant to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting pharmacy operations, ensuring accurate medication dispensing, and delivering excellent patient care. Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and package prescriptions in accordance with legal and safety standards
- Maintain organised records of medication dispensation and stock levels
- Support medication administration processes under supervision, ensuring patient safety
- Provide excellent patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on medication use
- Ensure the pharmacy environment complies with health and safety regulations
- Manage stock replenishment, including ordering and storage of pharmaceutical supplies
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing prescriptions
Experience
- Previous pharmacy technician experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols
- Experience in patient care settings, demonstrating compassionate communication skills
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and record management is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively within a team and under pressure

Pay: £24,420.00-£38,790.01 per year
