At Wise Owls Childcare, we are looking for a spirited, passionate Deputy Manager (Level 3 or above) to help lead our Foxley Nursery family in Shurlock Row!

As the Deputy Manager, you are the heartbeat of our outdoor nursery. You will work directly alongside the Nursery Manager to run the daily operations, lead and inspire our team of educators, and ensure every child stays safe while exploring nature. You step up to manage the nursery when the Manager is away, acting as a key role model for excellent childcare and forest school practices.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the Team: Guiding and supporting our educators to deliver amazing outdoor learning.
- Outdoor Adventures: Heading up fun, messy, and engaging play in our beautiful open spaces.
- Building Bonds: Staying connected with our families and ensuring parents feel part of the journey.
- Capturing Magic: Helping the team document "first-time" moments for parents to treasure.
- Nursery Oversight: Ensuring high standards of care, safety, and safeguarding across the setting.
The Details
- Location: Shurlock Row (RG10 0PX) — a beautiful rural setting!
- Hours: Full-time (42.5 hours per week) over 5 days.
- Safety First: We cover the cost of your DBS check and provide full safeguarding training.
- Job Types: Full-time, Permanent.
Are You the One?
- Qualified: You must hold a Level 3 or above childcare qualification (or equivalent).
- Leader: You are an experienced or aspiring leader ready to manage a team.
