Join Our Midday Meal Supervisor Team
We are looking for caring, enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team of Bank Midday Meal Supervisors.
As a Midday Meal Supervisor (MMS), you will play a vital role in ensuring our pupils have a safe, enjoyable and positive lunchtime experience. You will supervise children in the dining hall, playground and other designated areas, encouraging positive behaviour, inclusion and wellbeing.
This is a rewarding opportunity for anyone who enjoys working with children and would like to make a positive difference within a friendly school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise pupils during the lunchtime period in the dining hall and outdoor play areas.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage good manners.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils at all times.
- Support children in developing positive social skills and friendships.
- Encourage healthy eating habits and assist younger children where required.
- Manage minor incidents and report concerns to senior staff.
- Administer basic first aid where appropriate (training provided if required).
- Set up and tidy dining areas before and after lunch.
- Work collaboratively with school staff to maintain a positive lunchtime environment.

- Have a calm, caring and patient approach.
- Be reliable, punctual and flexible.
- Be confident supervising groups of children.
- Have good communication and teamwork skills.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
