The Carbone Clinic is looking to hire a tutor to provide direct support to a young adult participating in vocational work at pony centre in London.
Hours: 15 hours a week (3x5)
Location: London UB5
We are seeking a reliable, positive and motivated Tutor to join a small team supporting a young person through an individualised Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) programme.
The role focuses on teaching communication, independence and daily living skills through vocational work at a pony centre.
The young person enjoys practical, meaningful activities and has a developing interest in vocational experiences at a pony centre, so the role will include supporting skill development in community and real-life settings.
Training and ongoing supervision will be provided by an experienced professional.
Role includes
- Delivering teaching programmes designed by the BCBA
- Supporting the development of communication, independence and life skills
- Providing care and support as part of daily routines where required
- Collecting data accurately to monitor progress
- Supporting participation in community-based and vocational activities
- Implementing behaviour support strategies consistently
- Working as part of a small, supportive team
- Attending team meetings and training
- Promoting a positive, respectful and structured learning environment
Pay: £30.00 per hour
