Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled owner-driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. As an owner-operator, you will use your own van to deliver various types of loads, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate your own vehicle for the delivery of goods to various locations.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on your vehicle to ensure it is in optimal working condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and fuel consumption.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or van driver is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on your vehicle.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients.
- Must have your van (MWB/LWB).
