About the Role
We are looking for compassionate Personal Care Assistants providing dedicated one-to-one support for a male client in Wythenshawe, Manchester.
The client is a disabled adult who is unable to walk. The role involves hands-on support with mobility, transfers, and daily activities, delivered in line with an established care plan.
This is a rewarding role supporting daily routines, personal care and medication. You will play a key role in promoting the client’s independence, safety, and overall wellbeing.
Client Health Needs
The client lives with complex medical needs, including:
· Brain Injury
· Limited vision one eye
· Wheelchair user
· Slurred speech
· Epilepsy
· Hoist
· Personal Care
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver consistent, person-centred care in line with the client’s care plan
- Support independence and encourage engagement
- Assist with meal preparation and support with eating
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals
- Ensure the client’s environment is safe, calm, and supportive always
- Flexibility to preferably work both days and nights
Essential Requirements
- Preferably with experience supporting individuals with complex health needs
- Calm, confident, and patient approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Preferably be a driver with a UK driving licence (25 years old plus for business insurance purposes)
- Experience using a ceiling hoist
