Role
We are seeking skilled and motivated self-employed Multi-Trade Operatives (with own van) to join our team. You will carry out a wide range of domestic repair works, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake multi-trade tasks including, carpentry, patch plastering, tiling, basic plumbing & painting & decorating.
- Deliver a professional, customer-focused service at all times.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
- Travel to and from jobs within the designated postcode areas.
Core Trade Skills
- Carpentry/Joinery – door hanging, skirting, architraves, boxing-in, kitchen installations, unit adjustments & repairs.
- Tiling – wall and floor tiling, grout and silicone finishing, tile repairs.
- Painting & Decorating – surface prep, undercoating, glossing, emulsion, basic wallpapering.
- Plastering/Patching – small areas of plaster, bonding, patch repairs to walls/ceilings.
- Basic Plumbing – repairing/replacing taps, traps, wastes, toilet internals, radiators.
- Flooring – Installation of laminate, LVT, vinyl & timber floors
General Repair Skills
- Minor floor repairs (laminate, vinyl, timber).
- Fitting locks, handles, and ironmongery.
- Silicone sealing in kitchens and bathrooms.
- Minor roofline/gutter repairs (where required).
- General fault-finding and problem solving on domestic repairs.
Professional Standards
- Work safely and in line with Health & Safety requirements.
- Provide a tidy, respectful service in occupied homes.
- Accurately record work completed (photos, notes, job sheets).
- Communicate clearly with customers, colleagues, and office staff.
Requirements
- Proven experience in multi-trade/insurance repair works.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Fluent in English.
- Own tools and transport.

Pay: £180.00-£250.00 per day
