We are seeking to employ an HGV Class 1 Driver for a permanent on-going position to work within the company based in Brigg, North Lincolnshire. The role will require the washing and deployment of FLT’s/Agricultural Machinery from farm to farm and back to the main depot in Brigg, this would be across the UK. The requirements of the role will be working on 4 on 4 off shift pattern (night shift) with nights out and guaranteed overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle safely and efficiently.
· Transport Forklifts/ Agricultural Machinery to and from various farms locations within the UK.
· Ensure all Forklifts are securely loaded and unloaded.
· Comply with all relevant driving regulations and laws (e.g., tachograph, working hours).
· Complete necessary paperwork accurately (e.g. delivery notes, timesheets).
· Report any issues with the vehicle or deliveries promptly to management.
Requirements:
· Valid HGV Class 1 driving license.
· ADR certification (preferred).
· Current CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
· Digital Tachograph
· Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience (preferred).
· Ability to work independently an manage time effectively.
· Strong Communication skills.
· A good understanding of health and safety regulations.
· FLT Licence (Forklift Licence preferred)
