Our brand new state of the art private dental clinic in the heart of Northampton, will be opening August 2026. We pride ourselves in offering a full range of high quality and affordable dental treatments to residents of Northampton and surrounding Northamptonshire areas.
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients
- Perform basic dental procedures such as cleanings and fluoride treatments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- covering reception desk when required
- Take and record vital signs of patients
- Ensure proper infection control protocols are followed
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
Qualifications:
- Currently on on a Dental Course or actively looking to join a course
-Previous experience in a Dental Setting/clinic environment .
- Excellent time management skills & work ethic
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- Currently working towards certification in dental nursing
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping
- Familiarity with medical coding and billing practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
