Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Install new electrical systems, wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures in accordance with safety standards and building codes
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on existing electrical infrastructure to prevent outages or hazards
- Troubleshoot electrical problems using diagnostic tools and techniques, then implement effective solutions promptly
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during installation, repair, or maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to complete electrical projects on time and within scope
- Document work performed, including inspections, repairs, and upgrades for compliance purposes
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others
Qualifications
- Proven electrical experience with a strong understanding of electrical systems and wiring practices
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters
- Skilled with power tools including drills, saws, grinders, and other equipment necessary for electrical work
- Knowledge of local electrical codes and safety regulations is essential
- Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues
- Valid electrician’s license or certification as required by local regulations is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level roles
