We’re growing our care team in Thornley/Gilesgate and are looking for caring, reliable people who want a rewarding role where they can truly help others.
What You’ll Do
- Support service users to remain independent at home
- Assist with personal care (bathing, continence care, pad changes)
- Provide basic domestic support to maintain a safe home environment
- Prepare meals, snacks and drinks
- Communicate clearly with service users, families and professionals
- Report any concerns regarding wellbeing or safety
About You
No experience needed — full training provided.
We simply ask that you are:

- Trustworthy and reliable
- Positive and enthusiastic
- Over the age of 18
- Able to provide two references
- Willing to complete an Enhanced DBS check

Responsibilities for the role required are:
- Promote independence, caring for the service users within their own home.
- Assist in the support of personal care tasks; bathing, continence care, pad changes.
- Maintain a safe, enjoyable home environment for the service users by assisting with basic domestic tasks.
- Preparing meals, snacks and drinks to help sustain the service users nutrition and hydration needs.
- Communicate effectively with service user, next of kins and other medical professionals to ensure a high quality service to all.
- Identify and report any concerns in relation to a service users safety, wellbeing and welfare.
