We're looking for an experienced, passionate, and commercially minded Restaurant Manager to lead our busy country pub and restaurant.
Known for our traditional British cuisine, quality drinks, welcoming atmosphere, and popular summer live music events, we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding food and exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. The Role
As Restaurant Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the restaurant, leading the front-of-house team and ensuring every guest receives an outstanding experience.
We're looking for someone who can drive revenue, increase customer footfall, and bring fresh ideas to the business. Whether it's creating exciting events, building a stronger social media presence, or finding new ways to attract customers, you'll play a key role in growing our reputation and making us the place people want to visit.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop the front-of-house team.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high hospitality standards.
- Drive sales through excellent service, promotions, and events.
- Increase customer traffic through local marketing and social media, creating trends rather than following them.
- Manage staffing, rotas, and daily operations to ensure smooth service.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to deliver a seamless guest experience.
- Monitor labour costs, stock control, and overall profitability.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene, licensing, and health & safety regulations.
- Create a positive working environment where the team feels motivated and supported.
About You
You'll be an experienced hospitality professional who enjoys working in a busy environment and leads from the front. You're passionate about great food, quality drinks, and delivering memorable customer experiences.
You'll be commercially aware, full of ideas, and confident making decisions under pressure. Most importantly, you'll have a positive attitude, strong leadership skills, and a genuine desire to grow the business.
