Salary: 27-30k Based on a 37.5 hours a week, Competitive depending on experience.

Holiday entitlement: 28 days per annum (including bank holidays)
About Us:
We are a small, independently run business providing residential, commercial properties & storage units to rent. We are looking for a reliable and skilled Labourer/Maintenance Operative to join our team and help with the day-to-day upkeep and maintenance of our properties.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will carry out a wide range of maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks across the site. This is a varied, hands-on role that requires a broad skill set in the building trades and a proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
· Carry out general maintenance and repair work across the property portfolio.
· Perform tasks including roofing repairs, groundworks, plumbing, carpentry, painting & decorating.
· Undertake gardening and landscaping duties to maintain outdoor spaces.
· Assist with small construction or refurbishment projects as required.
· Ensure all work areas are kept tidy, safe, and compliant with health and safety standards.
· Carry out inspections and report any maintenance issues or hazards.
· Work safely at heights when required (training provided if needed).
Requirements:
· Proven experience in general building, maintenance, or handyman roles.
· Broad skill set across trades such as roofing, plumbing, carpentry, and groundworks.
· Comfortable working outdoors and at heights.
· Full, UK driving licence.
· Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a small team.
· Good communication and problem-solving skills.
· Basic I.T skills for recording and processing maintenance required.
Desirable:
· Relevant trade certifications (not essential).
· Experience in property or site maintenance.
· Experience with listed buildings.
Training & Development:
E-learning training courses and on-the-job development opportunities will be provided to support skill growth and health & safety compliance.
