Role Overview
We are looking for a confident, commercially focused Account Manager to join the You Can Clinic team.
The main focus of this role will be to nurture our existing customer database, improve customer retention and develop accounts into higher-spending, long-term customers. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with practitioners and clinics, identifying key accounts, understanding customer needs and increasing customer spend across our pharmacy products, training courses and wider services.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys building relationships, is confident communicating with different types of customers and can spot commercial opportunities within an existing customer base.
Experience in aesthetics is desirable, but not essential. More important is a proactive attitude, strong communication skills and the ability to develop accounts through excellent service, regular contact and commercially focused conversations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture an existing customer database.
- Build strong relationships with practitioners, clinics and key accounts.
- Focus on customer retention and reducing lapsed or inactive customers.
- Identify high-potential accounts and develop them into higher-spending customers.
- Increase customer spend through account management, product recommendations and regular follow-up.
- Upsell and cross-sell pharmacy products, consumables, aesthetics products and training courses.
- Support customers by understanding their business needs and recommending relevant products, training or support.
- Look after key accounts and ensure they receive a high level of service.
- Contact customers by phone, email and other communication channels.
- Follow up with customers after training courses, product purchases or enquiries.
- Promote new products, offers, training dates and business growth opportunities.
- Monitor customer purchasing patterns and identify opportunities for growth.
- Maintain accurate customer records, notes and sales activity within the CRM system.
- Work closely with the wider sales, pharmacy, training and customer service teams.
- Achieve agreed sales, retention, activity and account growth targets.
- Provide feedback on customer needs, competitor activity and market trends.
Skills and Essential experience
- Experience in account management, sales, customer success, business development or customer relationship management.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to speak confidently with customers at all levels.
- Commercially focused with the ability to identify opportunities to grow accounts.
- Confident making outbound calls and following up with customers.
- Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Organised and able to manage a portfolio of accounts.
- Proactive, self-motivated and target-driven.
- Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate customer records.
- Comfortable working as part of a team and independently.
Desirable
- Experience working in aesthetics, healthcare, pharmacy, medical sales, beauty, skincare or training.
- Understanding of aesthetic practitioners, clinics or healthcare professionals.
- Experience selling or account managing products, consumables, training courses or clinical services.
- Previous experience using a CRM system.

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
