Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operative to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor various silicone coated paper production machinery, adhering to safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Assist with the preparation, packaging, and labelling of products according to company specifications.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to identify any defects or inconsistencies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the production area in accordance with hygiene regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including basic troubleshooting and mechanical adjustments.
- Record production data accurately using basic maths skills for inventory and quality control purposes.
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times, recognising potential hazards within the manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Hands on role.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with machinery operation is a plus.
- Ability to perform basic maths accurately for measurements, quantities, and record keeping.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure high standards of product quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including early mornings or late shifts depending on operational needs.
