The Role
Howell and Co is a busy, well-established Warrington estate agency, and we’re looking for a Sales Negotiator to join our sales team.
You’ll be at the centre of everything - the first voice buyers and sellers hear, the person who books and conducts the viewings, negotiates the offers and keeps deals moving through to completion. It’s fast, varied and genuinely rewarding when you get it right.
We’re open on background. If you’re already a negotiator and want a busier office with a better commission structure, we want to hear from you. If you’ve never worked in property but you’ve got the drive and you’re good with people, we’ll train you properly.
What You’ll Be Doing
Registering buyers, qualifying their requirements and matching them to suitable properties.
Booking and conducting accompanied viewings across Warrington and the surrounding areas
Negotiating offers between buyers and sellers to get the best result for our clients.
Progressing sales from offer accepted through to exchange and completion — chasing solicitors, brokers andsurveyors
Building and maintaining relationships with vendors, keeping them updated with regular, honest feedback
Generating valuation appointments and market appraisals for the team.
Referring clients to our mortgage and conveyancing partners.
Keeping our CRM accurate and up to date.
ESSENTIAL
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Confident, professional telephone manner and strong face-to-face communication
Genuine drive to hit and beat targets — you should enjoy the competitive side of sales
Well organised, able to juggle a busy diary without dropping the ball
Smart, presentable and comfortable representing our brand
Available to work alternate Saturdays
DESIRABLE, BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
Previous experience as a Sales or Lettings Negotiator, or in another target-driven sales role
Local knowledge of Warrington and the surrounding villages
Familiarity with estate agency CRM systems
What we offer
A competitive basic salary with a genuinely uncapped commission structure — top performers earn well beyond OTE
Full training and support, whether you’re new to property or looking to sharpen existing skills
A clear progression path to Senior Negotiator, Valuer and Branch Manager
Mileage paid on work travel
A supportive, sociable team in a busy office with strong local stock
Salary
