We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to help lead the team at our new site in Newport.
Low and Slow is an American style barbecue restaurant serving up high quality slow smoked barbecue food. We operate as a counter service restaurant, focusing on providing a top quality takeaway and delivery service whilst also providing customers with a first class dine in experience. Quality, consistency and convenience are the things that we strive for.
This role will include the aiding of running shifts and helping lead the operation in Newport. Training will be provided in all of our back of house processes too, as we want all our management team to understand the care & attention to detail that goes into every aspect of the business.

The successful candidate for Assistant Manager will report directly to the Store Manager and will be instrumental in developing the processes, routines and procedures to make the business a success. Salary £32,000 pa

The Ideal Candidate:
This is going to be a key position at the restaurant. The ideal candidate will:
- Be self motivated
- Be a strong leader
- Have had previous experience running a fast paced restaurant
- Have experience with food delivery platforms
- Have previous kitchen/ chef experience
- Be experienced in managing people
- Have a passion for barbecue food
