We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to join our veterinary practice. This role is essential in providing exceptional client service and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for pet owners and visitors, responsible for managing appointments, handling enquiries, and supporting administrative tasks. Prior veterinary or reception experience is highly desirable to assist with client communication and record management. Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using our practice management software
- Answer phone calls and respond to email enquiries promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including medical histories and billing information
- Handle payment processing and invoicing with attention to detail
- Assist with administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and stock organisation
- Coordinate communication between clients, veterinary staff, and laboratory personnel
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy, organised, and professional at all times
Requirements
- Previous veterinary experience is highly advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
