The Roles
Alum Beach Hut is a new restaurant, bar and take away on the beach front at Alum Chine (near Branksome and Westbourne)
We are looking for Kitchen Porters to support the team as we will be very busy over the summer. Roles are available for full and part timers
The roles are available from now until mid September and include basic pay and a share of the service charge - basic pay is National Min Wage for your age group plus service charge which will be approx another £0.50 - £1.00 per hour
MUST BE OVER 17 or post GCSE when you start
We are right on the beach and so get very busy when the sun shines especially at weekends so we need individuals who enjoy hard work and being part of a team
Excellent communication skills, a calm approach and a passion for delicious food are a help and as part of a brilliant team you will be expected to support each other by always being on time and smiling!
Responsibilities
Making sure the Chefs have clean equipmment available and manageing the wash up to ensure that all plates and cutlery are cleaned. Setting up and cleaning down the kitchen. Keeping the back of house clean
Experience
No experience is neccesary as trianing will be provided but an undestanding of the role would help
