Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, creative, and detail-oriented Photographic Technician & Sales Assistant to join our team. This is a customer-facing role that blends technical photo work, social media, and retail service. If you enjoy working with people and have an interest in photography and digital tools, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in-store with printing, photo products, and general enquiries
- Operate tills and manage transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail space
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Work on basic photo editing, printing, and related technical tasks
- Support social media content creation (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
- Take initiative in daily shop operations and tasks
Qualifications
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications (minimum)
- Strong spoken and written English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Video editing and Canva
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)
- Previous experience in a photo lab or retail environment is an advantage
- Must be proactive, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills are essential
