Studio Manager / Head Coach – F45 Mill Hill
£32,000–£34,000 basic salary + up to £3,000 annual performance bonus
OTE up to £37,000
Full-time – up to 40 hours per week
Mill Hill, North London
F45 Mill Hill is looking for a Studio Manager / Head Coach to lead the day-to-day running of our studio.
We are not looking for a traditional corporate gym manager.
We are looking for a people person first and a manager second.
Our members train with us four or five times a week and, for many of them, F45 Mill Hill feels like a second home. The relationships between our team and our members are a huge part of what makes the studio special.
We want someone who genuinely enjoys getting to know members, helping them reach their goals, coaching great classes and creating an environment where everyone feels part of one team.
At the same time, you need to be confident leading people, maintaining standards and taking real ownership of the studio.
The Role
You will work closely with the owner and take responsibility for the day-to-day running of F45 Mill Hill.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing our coaching team
- Coaching approximately 16 F45 classes per week
- Building strong relationships with our members
- Taking responsibility for member experience and retention
- Creating and managing the monthly staff rota
- Recruiting new coaches and team members when required
- Maintaining high coaching and studio standards
- Managing staff performance and development
- Dealing with day-to-day member issues
- Supporting and overseeing membership administration
- Managing Challenges, HYROX programmes and studio events
- Helping oversee equipment, maintenance and general studio operations
- Monitoring studio targets and performance
- Supporting the sales function when required
- Eventually overseeing a Sales & Community Manager
- Meeting weekly with the owner to review performance, targets and priorities
This is a hands-on, member-facing management role.
We do not want our Studio Manager spending their entire week behind a laptop.
You will be on the gym floor, coaching, talking to members, supporting the team and understanding exactly what is happening in the studio.
Who We Are Looking For

- Warm, friendly and highly personable
- Naturally good at building genuine relationships
- Someone members enjoy being around and trust
- An excellent and engaging coach
- Confident leading and motivating a team
- Comfortable holding staff accountable when standards are not met
- Organised, reliable and proactive
- Comfortable taking ownership and making decisions
- Passionate about creating a strong gym community
- Professional without being overly corporate
- Someone who genuinely enjoys being part of a team and helping others achieve their goals
Essential Requirements
- Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification
- Strong group coaching ability
- Previous leadership, senior coaching or management experience
- Ability to work a mixture of early mornings, daytime hours, evenings and weekends

Previous F45 experience is helpful but not essential.
We would also love to hear from great people currently working in boutique fitness studios, premium gyms, independent gyms or as Head Coaches/Senior Coaches who are ready to take the next step into management.
