Duties
- Assist senior editors in researching and developing compelling articles, features, and multimedia content aligned with editorial standards.
- Edit written content for clarity, accuracy, tone, and style using Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop and Premiere.
- Manage social media channels by scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize outreach.
- Support the production of video content through editing footage, adding graphics, subtitles, and ensuring high-quality output.
- Coordinate translation efforts for bilingual content to ensure accessibility across diverse language audiences.
- Maintain an organized workflow by tracking deadlines, managing content calendars, and preparing materials for publication.
- Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and external contributors to produce visually compelling stories that resonate with our audience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience or strong interest in journalism, media production, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, and other Adobe Creative Suite applications.
- Skilled in video editing techniques with an eye for storytelling through visuals.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal formats; bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
- Experience managing social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook with measurable success.
- Knowledge of translation processes and cultural nuances to adapt content for diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
