Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Fuel Oils Office Manager to lead our administrative operations within the fuel oils division. Duties
- Supervise daily office activities, including clerical tasks, record keeping, and administrative support to ensure seamless operations
- Manage Sales of Fuel Oils, Kerosene etc
- Utilize SAGE accounting software to handle invoicing, expense tracking, and financial reporting related to fuel oils transactions
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Ensure proper phone etiquette is upheld at all times to promote positive customer experiences
- Organize schedules, meetings, and documentation to improve office efficiency while adhering to company policies and procedures
Skills
- Proven experience in the Fuels Market place with office management, clerical duties, and administrative support in a professional setting
- Strong team management skills with the ability to supervise staff effectively and foster teamwork
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to ensure clarity across all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in SAGE software for accurate bookkeeping and reporting
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Knowledge of human resources practices including employee onboarding, record keeping, and HR compliance
- Exceptional phone etiquette combined with professional interpersonal skills to handle inquiries confidently
- Prior experience in an office environment within the fuel oils or related industry is preferred but not required
