We are looking for a reliable and conscientious Production Operative to join our small, friendly team. The role involves preparing and hand-filling our products and is a practical, hands on position that requires care, accuracy and attention to detail.
Main responsibilities
* Preparing natural ingredients and products for production
* Hand filling oils and powder based products
* Following recipes, measurements and production instructions accurately
* Working with ratios and quantities
* Maintaining a clean and organised production area
* Following Health & Safety and hygiene procedures
* Assisting with other general production duties as required
The ideal candidate will:
* Be reliable, punctual and trustworthy
* Have a methodical and careful approach to their work
* Be comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
* Have a good basic understanding of maths, measurements and ratios
* Be physically fit, as the role involves standing and some lifting/manual handling
* Have a basic understanding of Health & Safety
* Take pride in producing work to a high standard
Previous production or manufacturing experience would be helpful but is not essential, as training will be provided.
Working pattern
This is a part-time, permanent position for 14 hours per week. You can choose two days from Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, but the days chosen must remain the same each week.
