We are currently recruiting for an experienced Steel Erector to work on a project based at Sharston Industrial Estate in Manchester.
This is an immediate requirement for approximately two weeks, with the possibility of further work for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out general steel erection duties on site. All tools and equipment will be supplied.
Duties will include
- Erecting structural steelwork
- Positioning, aligning and securing steel sections
- Working safely as part of the site team
- Following site instructions and health and safety procedures
- Assisting with general steel erection duties as required
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Steel Erector
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working at height
- Good understanding of site safety
- No specific tickets are required for this role
Pay and benefits
- Up to £200 per day, depending on experience
- Tools and equipment supplied
- Potential for longer-term work
- Day shifts, Monday to Friday
