Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Commis Chef / Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at dual locations. Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and standards
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to at all times
- Support the head chef in maintaining organisation and cleanliness within the kitchen
- Prepare ingredients for meal service, including chopping, marinating, and portioning
- Contribute to the presentation of dishes to meet quality standards
- Assist with stock control, including receiving deliveries and storing supplies appropriately
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation throughout shifts
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a restaurant environment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work across different shifts and locations as required
- A genuine passion for culinary arts and continuous learning within the hospitality sector
