New Directions Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher with experience supporting pupils with sensory needs to work within specialist provisions and schools across Leeds.

As an SEN Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including sensory processing difficulties.
- Use sensory-based approaches and strategies to engage learners and promote positive outcomes.
- Create a nurturing, inclusive, and structured learning environment.
- Work closely with support staff, parents, and external professionals.
- Monitor and assess progress, adapting learning programmes where required.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Experience supporting pupils with sensory needs and sensory-based learning approaches.
- Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and inclusive classroom practice.
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
- A patient, adaptable, and child-centred approach.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
