Job Overview
We are seeking a self-employed cleaner to provide professional cleaning services to a diverse range of clients. This role offers flexible school working hours, so perfect work mums who want to get back into work and need something to work around their children
You will gradually be given the opportunity to operate independently, managing your own schedule. The ideal candidate will have experience in various cleaning environments and possess excellent organisational skills. A background in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is advantageous, along with skills in customer service and cooking for versatile service offerings. Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning duties across residential, commercial, and Airbnb settings, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Utilise appropriate cleaning equipment and eco-friendly products to clean surfaces, floors, bathrooms, kitchens, and other specified areas.
- Manage your own appointments and client schedules efficiently to maximise productivity.
- Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with clients, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within agreed timeframes while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Handle specialised tasks such as light cooking or organising spaces if required by clients.
- Keep accurate records of work completed and communicate effectively with clients regarding their specific needs or concerns.
Experience
- Previous experience in janitorial services, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is highly desirable.
- Skills in cooking or food preparation can be beneficial for clients requiring additional services.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and courteously.
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple appointments independently.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards related to cleaning practices.
- Experience using various cleaning tools and eco-friendly products is preferred but not essential; training can be provided if necessary.
