Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, with precision and flair.
- Take orders from guests accurately, providing friendly recommendations and ensuring timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Follow food safety standards diligently to uphold hygiene regulations and ensure guest safety.
- Manage cash transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling payments securely.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and address any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours and special events.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a bartender or bar staff in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible serving practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Familiarity with serving techniques, cocktail preparation, and beverage presentation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
