Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Store Manager to lead an exciting family entertainment venue and café operation. As Store Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, strong commercial performance, and the highest standards of safety, cleanliness and team engagement. Operations Management
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the venue
- Ensure the site operates safely, efficiently and in line with company standards
- Conduct daily health and safety inspections
- Manage opening and closing procedures
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the venue
- Ensure all maintenance and safety issues are reported and resolved promptly
Team Leadership
- Help with Recruiting, training and developing team members
- Lead, motivate and inspire the team to deliver outstanding customer service
- Manage staff rotas and labour budgets
- Conduct performance reviews and coaching sessions
- Ensure all staff receive appropriate training and support
Customer Experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service standards
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints and feedback professionally
- Create a welcoming and engaging environment for families and children
- Ensure parties, events and customer visits run smoothly
Commercial Performance
- Drive sales and maximise revenue opportunities
- Monitor daily, weekly and monthly performance
- Manage stock control and ordering
- Support café operations and food service standards
- Control costs and labour spending while maintaining service quality
Compliance & Health and Safety
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Maintain food hygiene and health and safety standards
- Manage accident reporting and incident investigations
- Ensure safeguarding and customer safety remain a priority at all times
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous management experience within hospitality, leisure, retail, family entertainment or a similar customer-facing environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Proven ability to drive sales and manage operational performance
- Experience managing staffing levels, rotas and labour costs
- Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Desirable
- Experience managing a leisure, hospitality or family entertainment venue
- Food Hygiene Qualification
- First Aid Qualification
- Experience leading large teams
