About the Role:
At Chizukeki Digital Solutions Ltd, we build technology solutions that help organisations simplify complex business challenges and modernise the way they operate. We are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect who can take ownership of solution architecture across a range of digital transformation projects.
You will work at the intersection of business requirements, software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise technology. You will translate complex requirements into scalable, secure, and practical technical solutions while working closely with developers, product teams, project stakeholders, and clients.
This is a hands-on senior role for an architect who enjoys solving difficult technical problems, shaping architecture decisions, and guiding engineering teams toward reliable solutions.
Why Work With Us?
The Environment:
Our Hamilton team combines a collaborative working culture with a strong focus on technical quality. We encourage engineers and architects to share ideas, challenge assumptions, and contribute to important technology decisions.
Architecture Ownership:
You will have a meaningful role in defining solution architecture, technical standards, integration approaches, and long-term technology direction across projects.
Modern Technology:
Our teams work with modern cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, databases, and web technologies. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple areas of the technology stack.
Professional Growth:
We support continuous learning through technical training, industry events, certifications, and opportunities to work with new technologies and architectural approaches.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture:
Design scalable, secure, maintainable solutions that align business requirements with technical capabilities.
Technical Leadership:
Provide architectural guidance to software engineers and technical teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Requirements Analysis:
Work with stakeholders to understand business objectives, identify technical constraints, and translate requirements into practical architecture decisions.
Cloud and Integration:
Design cloud-based solutions, APIs, integrations, data flows, and distributed systems that can support evolving business needs.
Architecture Documentation:
Create clear architecture diagrams, technical specifications, decision records, and documentation that can be understood by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Technical Governance:
Establish and promote architecture standards, design principles, security practices, and engineering best practices.
Stakeholder Management:
Present technical recommendations to clients, project teams, and senior stakeholders, explaining complex architectural decisions in clear business terms.
Technical Problem Solving:
Investigate complex technical challenges and recommend solutions that balance performance, security, scalability, cost, and delivery timelines.
What We Are Looking For
Experience:
6+ years of experience in software engineering, technical architecture, solutions architecture, or a closely related discipline, with significant experience designing enterprise or cloud-based solutions.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, databases, integration patterns, security, and distributed systems.
Cloud Experience:
Practical experience with platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud, including designing scalable and resilient cloud architectures.
Communication:
You can explain complex technical concepts clearly to developers, business stakeholders, and clients. You are comfortable leading technical discussions and presenting architecture decisions.
Problem-Solving:
You take a pragmatic approach to architecture. You understand when a sophisticated solution is justified and when a simpler approach will deliver better business value.
Leadership Mindset:
You enjoy mentoring engineers, reviewing technical designs, facilitating architecture discussions, and helping teams make sound technical decisions.
Documentation:
You are comfortable producing architecture diagrams, technical specifications, system designs, and other documentation required to support successful delivery.
Mindset:
You are curious, practical, and commercially aware. You think beyond individual systems and consider how technology decisions affect users, teams, security, cost, and long-term business objectives.
