Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House team member to create a welcoming environment for our guests. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact, responsible for delivering excellent customer service, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide assistance as needed
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
- Handle guest enquiries both in person and via telephone or email
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages with professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area and dining spaces
- Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure timely service
- Address guest concerns promptly, aiming for complete satisfaction
- Support organising events or special functions when required
- Uphold health and safety standards in all aspects of work
Experience
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Organised with strong attention to detail
- A positive attitude and team-oriented approach are essential
- Basic knowledge of food service procedures and health & safety regulations is advantageous but not mandatory
