Sutton Health & Care are looking for experienced Band 6 Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapists to work 2 days per week 22.5 hours via Sutton Health & Care Sites, one of which is Sherwood Park School in Wallington
Our service aims to help children manage their physical symptoms and achieve their functional potential. We assess, treat and advise on exercises and activities which the child can do with their family and in nursery / school. As a children’s physio, you will teach families and carers about the child’s condition with a programme of activities required to either maintain or to develop skills. Physiotherapy for children uses age-appropriate activities and exercise to help children reach their full physical potential
To provide a high standard physiotherapy service to children and young people referred to Children’s Physiotherapy in accordance with the service level agreement for Sutton Health & Care Children’s Therapies.
2. To contribute to the development of the Children’s Physiotherapy service.
3. To develop and provide specialist physiotherapy assessment, advice and treatment to children with a wide variety of conditions including musculoskeletal, neurological, developmental delay and complex needs in the clinic and community setting. To work closely with the multidisciplinary team, families, nursery / school staff and the wider health team to plan and provide assessment and treatment. To work autonomously and without direct supervision, and be accountable for own actions.
