Overview
We are seeking a dedicated NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. WE will prefer TITAN trained dispenser. This role involves supporting the pharmacy team in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring excellent patient care and compliance with regulatory standards. The successful candidate will have a passion for healthcare, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. Duties
- Dispensing prescriptions accurately in accordance with legal and professional guidelines
- Assisting with medication administration and providing advice to patients under supervision
- Managing patient records and ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date
- Supporting the pharmacy team with stock management, including ordering, receiving, and storing medicines
- Providing excellent patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on medication use
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within the pharmacy setting
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the dispensary area to meet regulatory standards
- Supporting administrative tasks such as processing prescriptions and handling customer enquiries
Experience
- Previous pharmacy dispensary experience is highly desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and patient care practices is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing medicines
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
