Job requirements
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Waiter to join our team at Alfi who can hit the ground running.
The role will require you to look after guest needs, from finding them the right table to making food and drink recommendations and having the best possible time with us. You will have to respond to requests from guests and communicate them to team members to ensure guest satisfaction. Attention to detail is extremely important in order to ensure delivery of excellent service. Where necessary you will be required to support the team in returning and cleaning glassware and crockery, replenishing stock and cleaning tables.
Requirements:
- A real team player who works well with others, brings energy to the role and has the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Good working knowledge of wine, ideally specifically natural and biodynamic
- A passion for good food, and the ability to communicate in detail about menu choices such as allergens and upselling
- Experience taking order through a tablet, ideally using Lightspeed
- Taking initiative and excellent communication skills
- An understanding of restaurant operations and experience of delivering excellent customer service.
- An eye for detail, passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences and maintaining high standards
