Our lovely residents all have unique life stories and different personalities and our compassionate team go above and beyond to help every resident live life to the full.
As a Wellbeing Coordinator you’ll play a key role in developing personal activity plans that help every resident live as independently as possible. We understand the needs of our residents and their families and you will be building trusted relationships with them.
The role: You’ll balance listening skills with implementing specific activities to entertain and promote the residents’ independence and movement. You’ll be able motivate every resident with a plan that they are excited by and inspire the team around you to deliver activities and ideas that bring out the best in the people we passionately care about.
The skills required: You’re creative and a meticulous organiser. You’ll have boundless energy and love to design, arrange and facilitate activities on behalf of the residents. A great listener you’ll put residents at the heart of everything you do. You’ll be able to identify the needs of individuals and groups and develop activities that are meaningful. You’ll be able to work well on your own initiative and as part of a team.
You will need to have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. You will need a ‘can do’ approach and be confident in organising and leading group activities and also one-to one activities.
