About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Care & Support, you will have overall responsibility for GreenSquareAccord`s support services both in the wider community and people`s own homes, across the West Midlands and Southwest area. Our services provide a range of support, including services for customers who have experienced domestic abuse, homelessness and individuals who have been involved with the criminal justice system.
You will provide strategic leadership to service managers and their teams, ensuring services are safe, compliant, financially sustainable and consistently deliver excellent outcomes for customers.
Working closely with senior leaders across the organisation, you will contribute to GreenSquareAccord`s wider strategic objectives while representing the organisation with commissioners, regulators and partner agencies.
What You Will Be Doing
As Head of Service, you will:
- Assume overall responsibility for the allocated budget, ensuring the delivery of strong financial performance.
- Ensure that high-quality services are delivered that adhere to GreenSquareAccord`s, quality framework and contractual/ regulatory requirements.
- Lead services in developing and sustaining excellent customer service that enhances customer experience and maximises customer satisfaction.
- Provide strong leadership and oversight of your team, ensuring positive role modelling and adherence to organisational ways of working and policies and procedures.
- Develop strategic partnerships with key agencies to optimise outcomes for customers.
- Deputise for the Director of Care & Support when required.
About You
We are looking for a confident and commercially aware senior leader with significant experience within health, social care or supported housing.
You will bring:
NVQ Level 5 Diploma in leadership or Health & Social Care or equivalent
Senior leadership experience within social care, supported housing or a related service setting.
Proven experience of managing operational budgets and delivering financial performance.
Strong knowledge of quality assurance, governance and regulatory compliance.
Excellent people leadership skills with experience of managing performance.
An understanding of the regulatory requirements impacting support services.
Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Full UK driving licence (or ability to travel across the region).
Willingness to participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota.
