Acorn promotions is a rapidly expanding face to face fundraising agency based in North London.
At Acorn, we pride ourselves on delivering ethical, sustainable fundraising for our charity partners. Working in shopping centres, supermarkets and rail hubs, we engage with members of the public about the work of our charity partners, and invite them to become a part of the solution.
We’re really excited to be looking for a Team Leader in London to lead one of our lottery fundraising teams on a full time basis. In return, you'll receive a competitive basic salary of £18.60 (including rolled-up holiday pay) per hour, a great bonus structure that rewards open, honest and respectful fundraising, and a chance to join a growing company with plenty of room for progression.
What you’ll do:
- Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of (initially) 4-5 fundraisers, reporting into the Head of Fundraising Operations
- Team Improvement: Provide coaching, support and feedback to help your team succeed
- Manage the team's performance: You'll keep track of attendance and have regular catch-ups with your team members.
- Ensure high standards: You'll make sure your team follows the rules and provides a positive experience for the public.
- Recruitment: Acorn offers our Team Leaders the chance to have a say in the fundraisers they’ll be working with by joining Fundraiser interviews
Who We're Looking For:
- Experienced face to face fundraising team leader
- Proven ability to drive teams to success
- Proven ability to achieve personal fundraising targets
- Committed to delivering ethical and compliant fundraising
- Experience of private site fundraising (supermarkets and stations) and experience of Microsoft or Google Workspace packages (Word, Excel) desirable but not essential
