We are looking for an experienced, reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis to cover staff holidays.
Contract: 1st August – 3rd September
Working days: Tuesday to Saturday
Hours: 10:30am – 4:00pm
This is a hands-on role in a busy restaurant kitchen and previous experience in a professional kitchen is essential.
The role includes:
- Washing dishes, pots and kitchen equipment
- Assisting chefs with food preparation
- Preparing dishes exactly to our recipes and specifications
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and well stocked
- End-of-day cleaning, including sweeping, mopping and general tidying
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working in a busy commercial kitchen
- Can work quickly, efficiently and stay calm under pressure
- Can follow recipes and instructions accurately with excellent attention to detail
- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
- Has a positive attitude and works well as part of a friendly, hardworking team
