Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of desserts with attention to quality, presentation, and food safety standards
- Serve desserts efficiently to guests, ensuring prompt and friendly customer interactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the trailer workspace, adhering to sanitation protocols
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring ingredient levels
- Upsell dessert options and promote special items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
- Follow all food safety regulations and proper handling procedures at all times
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation or restaurant service preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper hygiene standards
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and portioning ingredients accurately
- Previous kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, especially in dessert or pastry preparation
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed
